Goldscan 5 -- Aquastar -- Goldquest/Aquasearch -- Deepstar

One year on the control unit, excluding the battery, from the original date of purchase. If the control unit fails due to defects in either material or workmanship, Pulse Power Developments, or Surfscanner Detector's, (USA), will repair or replace at it's option, all necessary parts without charge for parts or labor.

The rest of the parts i.e. charger, coil, shaft, have a one year warranty. NiMH batterys are not covered from over charging.

This is for component failures and manufacturing faults, but not damage caused by misuse or use for which the unit is not intended. The Aquastar, and Goldquest Aquasearch because of the extreme conditions that it is normally operated at, is not covered for damage caused by water unless such damage is caused by a defective component. All o-rings, and seals must be maintained at the responsibility of the purchaser/user of said unit.

Items excluded from the warrantee are non-rechargeable batteries, accessories that are not standard equipment, Special Delivery cost (Air Freight, Next Day, 2 Day, Packaging Services, ect.), and all shipping / handling cost 90 days after purchase.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, alterations, modifications, unauthorized service, or prolonged exposure to corrosive compounds, including salt.

                 * This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, it is not transferable.

The unit must be accompanied by a detailed explanation of the symptons of the failure.

You must provide a copy of your dated sales receipt.

If after the 90 day period, a check or money order for $25. must be included to cover return shipping.
