The very popular Classic ID, IDX * responds very favorably to modifications.

We add a receiver "Boost" circuit that adds about 2" to 2.5" recovery depth in the discriminate mode. This will allow your older IDX, ID to perform better than the newer "IDX PRO".

We can add a much needed external "Ground Balance" control, it's a necessary addition for any serious detecting.

We add a external "Threshold" control for aiding in "all metal" hunting.

Boost circuit : This is a boost circuit we add to the receiver circuit, and it gives approximately 2" to 2.5" of depth improvement in the discriminate mode.

Classic IDX "Pro"

The below modifications do wonders for the new Pro's added target enhancement boost modification.

Ground Balance: This will give you the ability to externally adjust your ground rejection as conditions warrant. This will aid in depth.

Threshold: This gives you a external adjustment of the threshold level you hear in the all metal mode, and ground balance procedures. Set properly to just hear a soft tone in your headphones will aid in finding those deep targets when operating in the "all metal" mode.

Boost: We "Tweak" the sensitivity a bit while we have it apart on the bench. This will give you a small gain over the factory "Pro" settings

THIS DETECTOR DEPTH WISE WILL COMPETE WITH ANYTHING. BEFORE I SENT IT TO BE DONE, I BURRIED ITEMS I COULD NOT DETECT. WHEN IT RETURNED, I RECOVERED EVERYTHING WITH EXTREMELY STRONG SIGNALS. THIS IS A PROFESSIONALY DONE UPGRADE.

THANKS....JIM

Hello Mr.Bill,

No I would not mind at all. Your service's were second to none. I remember when I originally called you for the upgrade, you told me I should learn my machine before it was changed. You lost a sale (for the time being), because of true and honest advise to a newbie. That kind of service is few and far between these days. After using it for some time and finding an old local park where I could not get my machine to balance, I knew it was time for your upgrade. I can't thank you enough for you excellent service and advise.

Thankyou,
Jim Levite
