BATTERY is a 14.8V 4250mAh Lithium rechargeable pack mounted midway, in a recess, in the control box. This is on a connector and is user replaceable. The transparent cover is released by turning the four locking screws ¼ of a turn.

The total current consumption is approximately 0.5A, so the operating life on one full charge would be approximately 8 - 9 hours.
