CONTROLS. On the side of the
box are four controls and three toggle 
switch's.

On/OFF Power Switch

PULSE DELAY, is adjustable from 10uS to 25uS

TX FREQUENCY, which adjusts the frequency over a small band, so as to be able to counteract external electromagnetic interference.

RANGE, adjusts the receiver amplification to give different levels of detection range, or reduce excessive noise in rare cases.

 AUDIO THRESHOLD, sets the users preferred
threshold level.

GB/Disc, This control is the course ground balance control. It is use to set the GB starting point & will double as a discriminator for audio indentification of targets.


 CONTROLS, and other facilities. On the end panel are -

BATTERY LEVEL METER .
 
GB/DISC. This adjusts the ground balance setting, either more
positive or more negative. Neutral ground balance is when there
is no tone or amplitude change on the audio, as the coil is raised
or lowered to the ground

PHONES on a pigtail lead with inline jack socket, which also
doubles as a charging socket for the external power supply module.

VOLUME. Audio volume control to accommodate headphones of different sensitivities.

TONE. This allows the user to adjust the tone of the audio response.

INVERT. This switch will invert the audio response to targets in the ID mode. One position will give you the target audio low to high passing over a good target. The other position will give you a target response of high to low passing over a good target.
